Worlds Apart

There are three spectacular gardens in our group--several have won major awards, and all exhibit the care and delight our innkeepers have in gardening.

Some are formal, some very loose-flowing. Abbington Green has "garden rooms" in many different styles. At Cumberland Falls has wonderful waterfalls. The 1900 Inn on Montford has private back gardens in their carriage house rooms/suites.

Western North Carolina is a gardener's paradise. Many plants grow together here that do not anywhere else. The North Carolina Arboretum is here, and there are garden tours in the spring to delight the visitor.
